In April, we returned from visiting our partners in Europe. This month, we completed our allocation decisions and began wiring funds to aid teams in Greece, Poland, and Ukraine. In total, we had over $83,000 to distribute. Thank you for being so generous! Your donations will help fund a wide range of initiatives, which we list below. Because we carry all the administrative costs ourselves, we can spend every dollar you gave on these projects. We are so grateful for your support!

Here’s What You Funded in Greece:

• A new computer for the migration monitoring team Aegean Boat Report

• Warehouse rent, program manager stipend, and two months’ inventory of underwear for the Collective Aid free clothing shop serving residents of Mavrovouni Camp on Lesvos Island

• Purchase of a car to transport Crisis Management Association volunteer dentists, who provide free care to residents of Mavrovouni Camp on Lesvos Island

• Two months of facility, construction, and maintenance expenses for EuropeCare’s Parea Community Center on Lesvos Island, which provides multiple services to the 4700 Mavrovouni Camp residents who visit every month

• Two months’ inventory of diapers for Glocal Roots, which supports displaced mothers and babies in Athens

• Plastic rain-proof siding for the eating area where Home for All serves meals to refugees and migrants on Lesvos Island

• Nutritious meals for Ritsona Camp children in the Lighthouse Relief summer 2025 sports program

• Three months’ stipend for the sous chef at Saffron Kitchen Project in Athens, which provides 500 meals a day for the displaced community

• Multi-purpose tent for Samos Volunteers’ Alpha Land Community Center providing respite for the 4000 residents of Samos Camp

• Three months’ rent for two apartments that Welcome Office Lesvos provides for highly vulnerable refugees in Mitilini

Here’s What You Funded in Poland:

• 2.5 months’ salary for an Egala Association caseworker helping refugees and migrants navigate life in Poland

• Polish language classes and social assistance provided by Pol Foundation to refugees and migrants in Krakow and Bialystok

• Funding for the Foundation for Freedom weekly women’s activity program in Debak Camp outside of Warsaw

• Office rent, utilities, and advocacy support for Foundation Towards Dialogue, which aids people from the Roma minority, including refugees from Ukraine

• Fuel costs for the I Will Help You Anyway Foundation, which aids people making the dangerous crossing from Belarus into Poland

• Six months of food aid distribution to Raindrops Foundation for displaced individuals and families in the remote border area near Belarus

• Four months of rent and utilities for We Are Monitoring, which maintains and disseminates essential statistical information on border crossings

Here’s What You Funded in Ukraine:

• Medical assistance vouchers for Dobra Fabryka to distribute to vulnerable people in Ukraine’s war zone

• Funding for Stand with Ukraine Foundation, which provides safe shelter and essential supplies to vulnerable people in Ukraine’s war zone
